A router table for woodworking.

The router is mounted from below to a custom made 8 mm aluminium plate. To allow for different router bit diameters I made four variants of the small round aluminium disk that lies in a recess in the big plate. Each of the disks has a different diameter hole in the middle.
The position of the aluminium plate can be adjusted with eight set screws. This way the plate can be made to sit flush with the table top.
And finally each disk has four magnets incorporated and the big plate has four matching magnets on the bottom. The magnets can be seen down below in the exploded view.

The fence can also be adjusted in several ways: X-/Y-position and width. It consists of two wood panels which are screwed together with wing nuts.
It also features two "stops" and sort of a blade guard. These three components were made out of acrylic sheets and are also adjustable.
In order to make the rear wood panel more stiff I incorporated a steel T-profile on top and a steel L-profile on the rear bottom of the panel. The T-profile is screwed only to the rear wood panel. This in combination with the wing nuts, elongated holes and split front wood panel makes it possible to move the split front panel independently from the rear panel.
