WIP: Differential Probe
This project is still in the making...
A Differential Probe for up to 240 VAC RMS and a target bandwidth of 100 MHz with proper banana input jacks and a BNC output jack:
- ultra low noise +/- 5 VDC dual rail power supply with USB-C jack as power source
- selectable attenuation of 10:1 and 100:1
- fully trimmable Instrumentation Amplifier
- strong input protection against overvoltage and current surges
The entire attenuation stage is currently on a pluggable daughterboard for the time being. Once the attenuation has been perfected the circuitry will be integrated onto the mainboard.
